Halloween Carousel coloring page
At night, a spooky carousel came to life at the fair.
A white horse and a black horse woke up.
“Race you to the top!” said the white horse.
“You’re on!” laughed the black horse.
The carousel began to turn.
Round and round they went.
Up and down, the horses moved side by side.
The black horse had little bats on it.
Stars shone above the purple and orange roof.
A smiling pumpkin watched from the ground.
Round and round they went, but neither horse got ahead.
The two horses laughed and had fun.
Who do you think won the race?
Did You Know?
The very first carousels were built to help knights practice their riding skills, long before they became fun fair rides.

Coloring Tip
Color each carousel horse a different color to make the ride look extra festive.
Pumpkins, bats and string lights decorate this carnival carousel, drawn with the same bold outlines as the rest of the set. Two printable pages come with it — a coloring outline and a colored reference. The full collection is under Halloween coloring pages.
